Dr. Vladimir Pastouk, DMD
Integrative dentist and airway specialist with more than 30 years in implant, cosmetic, and biological dentistry. He founded Glossodontics®, developed a patented tongue-tie surgical technique, and is board-certified in Naturopathy and Biological Dental Medicine. A Silver Medal recipient of the European Congress of Implantologists, international lecturer, and clinician with 15+ years of dental mission work, he brings measured airway volume, tongue and bite structure, and biologic dentistry into Aligness’s joint review with ophthalmology and functional medicine.
Dr. Heather Skeens, MD
Board-certified ophthalmologist and corneal surgeon with over 25 years of surgical experience and more than 20,000 eye surgeries. She is a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner, the author of Unshackled, and a former Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Medical University of South Carolina. Her work has appeared in Ophthalmology, Cornea, and the American Journal of Ophthalmology, and she has been featured on FOX 5 San Diego and PIX11 New York. As co-founder of Aligness, she brings ophthalmology and functional medicine into the same room as airway dentistry so patients leave with one clear next step, not another siloed referral.
